ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures vendors and subcontractors are complying with all project requirements (certificates of insurance, purchase orders and subcontracts executed).
- Assists with supplier and subcontractor buyout.
- Assist in preparation and distribution of job information to field team. Prepares and processes all new job packets, subcontracts, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and project close-out documents in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintains the purchase order system in accordance with established guidelines.
- Receive and label all field delivery slips.
- Assists Project Management & Estimating with copying, filing, and completes other administrative functions as deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Performs additional duties/assignments as directed by supervisor.
Education & Experience:
- Two-year Business school or technical degree, or equivalent office experience.
- General knowledge of the construction field and accounting is helpful.
- Computer literate in Viewpoint, HCSS, WordPerfect and Excel a plus.
- Notary Public a plus
- Construction accounting experience
- Automated accounting experience
- PA Driver’s license
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic office procedures
- Must be able to type a minimum of 40 wpm
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all types of people
- Ability to maintain composure under stress
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
